What if to spice up our running, we tried to do some different types of runs in January? This will allow you to continue your normal training until the marathon, and then after you take some time off, we could try something new. I'm thinking that on certain days, instead of running for mileage, we could run for speed, or run hills, or do two-a-days (run in the mornings and then at night)...just a thought...this will probably help us to pick up our pace on our run for mileage runs. At first we could add, one or two of these a week.

ps there's a place here in town that you can get a one hour massage for $39. I think I might treat myself to this when I get to my first 8 mile run, or maybe my first 10 mile run...make it worth the effort!!

Ran tonight with Logan for just 1 mile. This is not even close to exacting, but our time with 7:40 or so. It would be nice to see this drop by about a minute in the next month.

I have to run a 3miler tomorrow, and Monday, and then another 5 miles on Tues. to be able to meet my goal.

Love it but we better think of some way that will motivate us to get in the pool!!!!!!!!!!!!!
